Environmental Economist - Mexican Fund for Nature Conservation

Graciela Reyes Retana is a Mexican environmental economist. She is a doctoral candidate at Cornell University, where she studied on a Fulbright scholarship. She has a master’s degree in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh, UK,  and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Graciela was an environmental economist and consultant at the World Bank for 12 years. Graciela joined the Mexican Fund for Nature Conservation in 2020, where she leads a multidisciplinary team in the design and evaluation of projects supported by donors such as the Green Climate Fund and the Global Environment Fund, as well as carbon-related initiatives.
