Dr Andy Rylance is the UNDP Global Technical Specialist for Coral Reef Ecosystems and Finance. He forms part of the UN Global Team managing the Global Fund for Coral Reefs, leading the GFCR’s knowledge management support and REEF+ Community of Practice.
Andy is an environmental economist with nearly two decades of experience working on biodiversity conservation, protected area management, conservation trust funds and environmental finance. Prior to this role, was UNDP’s Chief Technical Advisor supporting financing of protected areas in Papua New Guinea, Seychelles and Mozambique.
