Camila has 20 years of experience in conservation finance and currently is the Conservation Trust Funds Director at The Nature Conservancy, TNC. Camila has supported the establishment of new CTFs in Gabon, Mongolia and Ecuador and supports CTFs managing large programs related to Project Finance for Permanence (PFPs) and debt conversions initiatives.\nShe worked with Latin American and Caribbean CTFs in proposal writing, strategic planning, safeguards systems, and organizational development. She has served as RedLAC Executive Secretary from 2008 to 2011, while working in the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund (Funbio), when she led the implementation of capacity building initiatives for CTFs and supported the creation of CAFÉ (the Consortium of African Funds for the Environment). Camila is a Board member of the BioGuinea Foundation in Guinea Bissau, SeyCCAT in the Seychelles, and is a member of Biofund in Mozambique.

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Patagua. Natural Resources Engineer (University of Chile), Master in Integrated Water Management (University of Queensland), and Diploma in Landscape Design (Austral University of Chile). She has 18 years of experience leading and integrating interdisciplinary teams in projects and consultancies for sustainable water and land management, working with both the public and private sectors in Chile and across Latin America. Her areas of expertise include water-sensitive design, nature-based solutions, urban ecosystem management, and territorial planning. She is also a guest lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Chile, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, University of Santiago, and University of Los Lagos.

A dual citizen of New Zealand and France, Cameron joined Island Conservation as Vice President, Conservation Programs, on 1 July 2024. He has extensive experience in international relations, cooperation and sustainable development having led delegations, developed and implemented programmes and partnerships and participated in numerous international conferences, negotiations, meetings and workshops, particularly in the fields of oceans, climate, biodiversity and resilient development in island environments. Cameron holds bachelor’s degrees in law and arts from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), a Master of public law and a Master of Advanced Studies in international relations from the University of New Caledonia and is currently completing a PhD on climate litigation and climate justice at the University of Paris-Saclay (France). He is a member of the IUCN Climate Crisis Commission and World Commission on Environmental Law, the Special Envoy for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) with the ‘Towards IPOS initiative’ for an International Panel for Ocean Sustainability and an auditor of France’s Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN). He is also a qualified lawyer, admitted to the bar in New Zealand and New South Wales (Australia), and has worked across both common and civil law jurisdictions. Among his previous roles, for almost a decade Cameron was Deputy Director-General of the Pacific Community (SPC), the Pacific Islands region’s largest and oldest intergovernmental organisation. Throughout his career, Cameron has worked closely with and alongside Heads of State and Government, Ministers and senior representatives from a wide range of countries, international organisations, the private sector and civil society around the globe. He has also taught international environmental law and governance at the University of New Caledonia and the National University of Vanuatu and been a guest lecturer on climate justice at Kadir Has University (Turkey) and foreign policy (University of Otago). Cameron has made multiple keynote addresses and publishes articles regularly on issues relating to the environment, climate change, oceans and sustainable development in a wide variety of international and domestic fora. Outside of work, Cameron enjoys fly fishing, skiing, racquet sports (squash, padel, tennis), reading and spending quality time with family and friends.

Born in Valdivia, she is the daughter of Ester Aurora Fecci Pérez, professor at the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the Austral University of Chile, and Carlos Alberto Amtmann Moyano, professor and former rector of the Austral University of Chile. She completed her secondary education at Colegio Domus-Mater in Valdivia. She graduated as a Teacher of History, Geography, and Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso in 2012, and holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics in Public Policy from Universidad Alberto Hurtado, as well as in International Politics and Economic Development from Fordham University.

Carolina is a Brazilian biologist with postgraduate studies in ecology, public policy and international relations. She has more than 20 years of experience in marine conservation and governance, protected areas and wetland policies, both nationally and internationally. In her over 25 years of career, she has worked with national government, international organizations and NGOs. Currently based in the UK, she leads the TNC global policy efforts on area-based conservation, working with country programs, partner organizations and governments, advising and supporting the development and adoption of policies that leads countries to achieve commitments made under the Convention on Biological Diversity. Carolina is the co-chair of the IUCN – OECM working group for NGOs and Researchers.

Chetan focuses on scaling debt conversion projects through capacity building training, increasing the availability of credit enhancement, and incorporating natural capital into the macroeconomic models of the IMF, World Bank, and credit rating agencies.\nPrior to TNC, he served as a Special Assistant and Policy Advisor in the Biden-Harris White House working on issues related to nature-based solutions, climate finance, adaptation, and clean energy. He did his Masters at Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Climate, China, and International Finance, and his undergraduate from the University of Georgia majoring in Microbiology and Economics.

Dahti Tsetso is Tłı̨chǫ from Yellowknife, NT, Canada and is the CEO of the Our Land for the Future Trust. She helped launch the Dehcho K'éhodi Guardians Program and led efforts to protect Edéhzhíe, now a jointly designated Dehcho Protected Area and National Wildlife Area.\nPreviously, she directed Lands & Resources for Dehcho First Nations, advancing conservation rooted in Dene laws, language, and intergenerational knowledge. Dahti holds degrees in Environmental Conservation Sciences and Native Studies, plus a diploma in Indigenous Language Revitalization.\nShe lives in Łíídlįį Kų́ę́ (Fort Simpson), NT with her family.

Eli Romero was born and raised in northern Belize, Central America. He completed his undergraduate studies in Belize and has pursued graduate education in the United States and Costa Rica (ongoing). Passionate about the outdoors and making a meaningful impact in people's lives, Eli has been actively involved in national conservation efforts in Belize for over 15 years. His professional background include social work, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), academia, and climate finance. Eli is deeply committed to supporting national initiatives that promote the sustainable development of Belize, with a particular focus on building climate resilience.
